Baroque chapel of longitudinal, rectangular plant, with tombstone allusive to the construction on the portal. In the Tabernacle kept the relics of the Patron Saint.

Small Romanesque chapel, simple, in that the sobriety of the moth and the frown entered in the portal. The chapel's patron saint is Saint Sebastian.

Worthy of notice are the masonry work portal surpassed by a rectangular window and bell tower, a characteristic of the Baixo alentejo baroque.

The first Franciscan convent founded in Portugal in 1222 by order of Dona Sancha, daughter of Dom Sancho I. Although deeply damaged by the 1755 earthquake, some elements from earlier periods remain. In the 16th-century cloister, the highly ornate Manueline portal that gives access to the Chapter House remains.
