This museum is located in the Gorjão Palace, a former Coimbra manor house dating back to the 17th century. The museum regularly presents temporary exhibitions of sculpture, painting, drawing, and tapestry, among other works. La iglesia fue fundada por la reina Leonor a principios del siglo XVI. Remodelado en el siglo XVIII, el campanario también es de esa época.
