The Foundation Pedro Ruivo gets its name from a culture director who devoted his time, knowledge and experience to music. Its purpose is to help young people who are musically gifted and to promote music.

This Environmental Interpretation Center aims to simultaneously pay tribute to Dalberto Pombo (a citizen who dedicated much of his life to research and teaching in the field of natural history), establish a multifunctional space focused on environmental issues, and enhance Vila do Porto's built heritage.

Edifício que foi sede de concelho com foral dado por D. Manuel I em 1514 e que possuía Câmara, Tribunal, Cadeia, Destacamento Militar e Botica (Farmácia). Tinha Juiz, Procurador e Escrivão.

Located in the centre of the small town of Samouco, its interior is composed of one sole nave. The façade has a simple entrance, topped by a larg window with gratings, followed by a clock. Its main lines are of the 18th century, finished in the reign of Dona Maria I.

This is an ensemble with 6 paths of Roman roads, that it were probably built between the I and IV centuries. They are composed by curvilinear traces with rectilinear trends and the pavement was in granite blocks. It has one bridge with a perfect curve arch probably built on the XVIII and XII centuries.
