A 1.5 kilometres long pedestrian walk that starts and ends at the mountain village of Ribeiro Frio. From here one can reach the Balcões belvedere from where one can enjoy wondrful views of the Ribeira da Metade valley.

Here there are several schist houses, where the roof and portals stand out. In this parish, the main highlights are the Main Church and the Misericórdia Church, the Manueline bridge, the chapels of São Sebastião and Castelo and the Pombal fountain. Local handicrafts consist of tin and lace.

The Cultural and Recreative Association “Os fontineiros da Maia” functions here. This space has a gaming room, a leisure room with TV, a room for the children's free times and a backup bar. It promotes several activities, such as folklore, dances and music teaching.

Restored house in perfect harmony with the country atmosphere, offering the visitors direct contact with nature. The farm is placed in a rural area with a swamp, therefore the name. Here, the biological agriculture prevails, and the guests are invited to participate and also be in contact with the farm animals.

Male former convent of the order of St. Francis founded in 1553, which subsists the cloister. In 1834 was sold, working for a few years as fifth and, in 1987, was acquired by the University of Beira Interior, after the remodel, opened here in 1995, a part of the University.

Building dating from the 16th century, erected on a previous building, which left the so-called erotic dogs, we reveal the secrets of medieval bed. The Távoras, warden of the castle of Miranda, have resided here between 1385 and 1795.

Baroque manor in L, with two floors, surrounded by a grating wall, which bounds a lovely garden. Inside are worth notice the stairs, the arcs and baroque decoration. The name of this manor id owe to the fact that, in times, there used to be a public way here.

Noble House with a rectangular plant Mannerist willing lengthwise and two floors. It was built between 1720 and 1723, working initially as a residence. In 1926 it was here opened the Museum Municipal de Viana do Castelo, with space being extended in 1990.
