At the Museum of the ISEP are gathered scientific instruments, educational models and other objects that were belonging to the Institute over the years and to assist education units, constituting a collection that extends to almost all areas of engineering taught in this establishment: of physics to electronics, of mathematics to mechanics, chemical engineering civilian, through drawing and mineralogy. In addition to the objects the Museum has a considerable bibliographical estate where we can find major reference works such as the encyclopedia of Diderot and D'alembert, a precious book of Musschenbroeck physics or a book of architecture of Leon Battista …

The Teatro da Marionetas (puppets’ theatre) was founded in 1988, aiming the production of puppets’ shows. It tried, from the beginning, to renew ancient forms of puppet-show, such as the Dom Roberto show. In 1992, the puppet theatre opened the Belomonte Theatre, exclusively for this company's events.

Pousada built from scratch, inaugurated the 25 August 1943, as part of the first group of buildings that were part of the national program to provide the country with a network of hostels, between the end of the thirties and forties.

The building of the old Clube dos Ingleses (English Club) has two floors. The upstairs floor has balcony windows with iron bars ended by triangular and curved forms’ frontons. The main front opens to the ancient garden with three curved doors. Inside the building the hall with six arches, based on pillars, the stucco decoration and the paintings on the ceiling stand out.
