The Ria de Aveiro is one of the most important and beautiful hydrographic features of the Portuguese coast. It extends for about 45 kilometers, parallel to the sea, where the Vouga, Antuã and Boco rivers flow. With a very diverse aquatic fauna, it is also a privileged place for water sports. It is the main natural attraction of the city of Aveiro.

This open air shopping centre is one of the attractions of Aveiro in what concerns the commercial area. Built at the city centre, it stands out for the possibility to enjoy all the comfort of a shopping centre while you take a calm walk by the Ria. Its commercial area has 1200m2, divided in two floors. The catering area is covered and heated during the winter.

An open-air grandstand built of masonry and brick, where the Dukes of Aveiro sat when attending public performances. It is located in a cobbled square, near the Abiul oven.

This is the first hostel in the city of Aveiro, opened in July 2009. Located in one of the common areas of the city, near the canal da ria de Aveiro, offers 39 beds distributed across eight rooms and two suites with private bathroom. The rooms ' names allude to the city and to their traditions, like the room, the room Salinas Moliceiro and soft eggs. It also has a living room, a kitchen, a patio and a terrace.

Os ovos-moles são um doce conventual feito à base de ovos e açúcar. Para além do doce, são um símbolo turístico da cidade de Aveiro. Podem ser apresentados em pequenas miniaturas (barricas de madeira) ou também em caixas (envolvidos em hóstia) ou porcelanas com imagens alusivas à Ria de Aveiro. É, atualmente, um dos poucos doces portugueses com estatuto de Indicação Geográfica Protegida (IGP).
