Large pond, fed by the waters of the Cértima River and situated in the Valley of Águeda, being also known as lagoa de Requeixo. This is a vast space and shallow, with an abundance of aquatic vegetation, especially the common, used especially in basketry. The fish species here include the eel, barbel, carp and goldfish.

The Ria de Aveiro is one of the most important and beautiful hydrographic features of the Portuguese coast. It extends for about 45 kilometers, parallel to the sea, where the Vouga, Antuã and Boco rivers flow. With a very diverse aquatic fauna, it is also a privileged place for water sports.
