This small lagoon, located on the river Troço, has a natural waterfall and offers a serene and wild landscape. On the banks of the river are visible ruins of old oil mills and mills.

The Municipal Park has a restaurant and café, as well as tables and benches for picnickers. It also includes the Leiria tennis club, basketball and handball courts, a playground and small lakes. It is also known as Parque do Avião, for having exposed an airplane.

It is the largest green space in the city, with a terrace and a restaurant. Nearby, the Lis river allows for walks along the banks, connected by bridges. If the weather invites, a picnic is possible at one of the tables.

The only covered area open to the public allows, in its 1187 hectares of forest, contact with countless animal species. The Cerco garden surrounds the building, covering an area of 8 hectares, and works as a transition element between the monument and Tapada de Mafra. The central pond, the water wheel and the small lakes are worth mentioning.

Built in 1747, the Tapada Nacional de Mafra was created with the aim of providing adequate involvement to the Mafra Palace, to constitute a recreational space for the King and his court and also to supply firewood and other products to the Convent. With an area of 1187 hectares, Tapada has a rich fauna and flora and offers a series of activities to the public, such as walking, mountain biking and train routes, night visits, traditional games and activities for the youngest.

A place with lovely views of the typical houses of Óbidos. There is a small telescope.

A quite lovely lagoon fromed by a central area with several channels, namely those of Barrosa and Bom Sucesso. Once, the ocean reached the walls of Óbidos.

A green space with several plant and animal species, namely deer and boars, besides a few windmills. There are also garden benches and drinking fountains.

With about 6200 square meters of area, the Botanical Garden of Brussels hosts over 6000 plants representing about 50 native species characteristics of the Lisbon region. The garden includes a central space for outdoor Auditorium, illuminated by solar-powered lamps.

The garden of music is part of a rehabilitation project of the municipality of Odivelas. Currently available native species trees, grassy areas and spaces of aromatic herbs.
