Sines is located on the southwest coast of Alentejo and the southern part of the County, is part of the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina, which stretches from Are the Algarve Torpes. Castelo de Sines
A medieval castle that was restored several times along the years. Of the primitive castle still remain the walls with battlements and turrets, the donjon with windows and the palace of the military commander.
