A 2.5-kilometer trail integrated into the Serras de Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park. The starting and ending points are the Vale de Ventos Welcome Center. Its main attractions, traditional architecture, flora and fauna, and panoramic views, make this tour a pleasant surprise.

The Alcobertas Cave is 210 meters long and sometimes reaches 9 feet in height. Its archaeological value has already been demonstrated, thanks to the discovery of human bones from the Upper Paleolithic, species that lived in small nomadic communities, in temporary camps, outdoors, or in caves.

The Salt Mines are located in the Serras D'Aire e Candeeiros Natural Park, 30 kilometers from the sea. The oldest reference to this natural resource dates back to the 12th century, and the use of rock salt is believed to date back to prehistoric times. Given the ease with which rainwater penetrates limestone, the streams eventually become underground. Thanks to one of these currents, the water becomes salty as it passes through the rock salt deposit.
