Built in the 18th century, these wells bear witness to a rudimentary form of cold-water technology. There are three of them: one circular and two octagonal. All feature a narrow opening and a rectangular door topped by a segmental-arch brick lintel.

The Casa do Tempo was created to serve as a space for heritage preservation and a vibrant hub for cultural and educational activities. A beautiful and high-quality beach located in Ribeira de Pêra. It offers plenty of shade and has been classified as an accessible beach due to its access points, ramps, and walkways. It is well-equipped and offers a variety of activities.

This beach is part of a leisure complex located on a lake about a kilometer long. It features the largest wave pool in the country, covering approximately 2,100 square meters, a reservoir, a centuries-old bridge, and six bungalows where you can spend the night. You can also take boat rides or pedal boats, as well as overnight stays on sailboats anchored in the marina.

A hiking trail that leads hikers to Santo António da Neve, named after the former location where snow was collected to supply the Lisbon Court. The views are breathtaking, encompassing not only National Monuments but also the Atlantic Ocean and the Serra da Estrela mountains.

A monument erected in honor of the victims of the Hintze Ribeiro Bridge collapse tragedy. It is a statue of a golden angel, approximately ten meters tall. Descending some stairs next to the angel, we find a small shrine with the photos and names of the victims of the bridge collapse.

The Paiva River rises in the Serra da Nave, in Moimenta da Beira, and flows into the Douro, in Castelo de Paiva. It was once considered the least polluted river in Europe and remains a spawning ground for trout. It offers opportunities for hydrospeed and other water sports.
