Folgosinho, located on the north slope of Serra da Estrela, at an altitude of 930 metres, was the county seat until 1836. It is known for having been mentioned in the "Lusíadas", due to Viriato who, according to legend, was born here. It has a rich cultural heritage, highlighting the archaeological site of Outeiro, the medieval walls, the pillory and the church. The population dedicates itself, in its majority, to the pastoralism, being produced in this region the famous cheese of Serra da Estrela.

Located on a plain above the Alva river, Sabugueiro is the highest village in Portugal (an altitude of 1050 metres). It started from the shacks of sheperds that used the mountain's pastures for their sheep and their goats. The engraving on the rock by the Canariz Fountain is a testimony to the peopling of the area in remote times. Even though there are still shepherds and related activities (wool and cheese production), rural tourism has developed in the last few years and there are several typical houses currently adapted. It is a living testimony of the important presence that the Jewish community had and still has in Belmonte. It is also a tribute to those who managed to resist the expulsion orders of Catholic kings, the persecution of the Inquisition and the decisions of the courts. Its collection consists of pieces used by Jews and New Christians in their daily lives or in religious practices, from the Middle Ages to the 20th century.

Sanctuary located at approximately 760 meters above sea level, at the head of Vilas Boas, where there was an ancient Celtic fort. It consists of a church dating from the 17th century, outbuildings and a set of six chapels. It is a neoclassical Marian sanctuary, from which you can obtain magnificent views over the region.

Baroque church with a longitudinal plan consisting of a single nave, a rectangular chancel and a side chapel and an attached sacristy. Highlights, on the outside, are the side bell towers and the portal and, inside, the baroque gilded altars and the 19th century panel on the main altar.

The original building was built in the 18th century, but after a collapse in 1882, it was rebuilt in 1883/1986. It has a longitudinal plan with a single nave, with a rectangular chancel and a gabled roof covering in the nave and a three-pitched roof in the chancel. Outside, the highlight is the bell tower and the depressed arched portal.

Only the Porta da Vila or Arco de Dom Dinis and a section of the wall remain from this medieval castle. The main door is flanked by a tower flanked by two semicircular defensive towers. The town of Vila Flor was part of a border defense zone against attacks from Castile and León.

Town built in the Low Middle Ages, made up of a group of granite houses arranged in narrow streets, where there is also a chapel with a bell ring and a cross. Currently, this village is in ruins and abandoned. Only some of the houses still function, serving as buildings to support agricultural activity.
