Opened in 1989, this museum showcases the cultural heritage of the village of Vilarinho das Furnas, which was destroyed by a dam (Vilarinho das Furnas dam) in 1972. It also displays some collections from other locations in the municipality of Terras de Bouro.

A collection of milestones, some dating from Titus Domitian, Nerva, Trajan, or Hadrian. Here, one can read miles XXXIII, XXXIIII, XXXV, or XXXVI, counted from Bracara Augusta. This road, possibly built in the last third of the 1st century AD, connected Bracara Augusta (Braga) to Asturica Augusta (present-day Astorga, Spain) and covers a distance of approximately 215 miles (about 318 kilometers).

Sanctuary in honor of Saint Benedict, from where you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the entire Serra do Gerês mountain range. The chancel and altar are dedicated to this saint, a cult that dates back to the mid-18th century. The sanctuary hosts the main pilgrimage from August 10 to 15, and other festivities on March 21 and July 11.

This area is located in the heart of the Gerês valley, on the Caniçada reservoir. Several springs from the Gerês mountains converge here, namely the Gerês River, the Cávado River, and the Freitas River. The marina is sought after for its scenic beauty and excellent conditions for water sports. It encompasses approximately 700 hectares of navigable waterways.

The parish of Vilar da Veiga, located within the Peneda-Gerês National Park (southernmost slope of Gerês), is extremely rich in natural resources (viewpoints, rock formations, and waterfalls). Situated in Leonte, at an altitude of 872 meters, this waterfall cascades from a great height, forming a beautiful waterfall during the winter and spring.

Located about twenty kilometers from Terras de Bouro, in the southernmost area of ​​the Serra do Gerês mountain range, the Arado Waterfall is part of a beautiful collection of waterfalls and numerous streams that dot the Peneda-Gerês National Park. It differs from many others due to the cascading water in consecutive steps. It is accessible by road (Nogueira/Portela do Vade) which is about seven kilometers from the waterfall.

Located next to the Gerês Thermal Baths building, this is a great place to relax. A very beautiful park with areas of spontaneous vegetation and landscaped gardens. It has a lake with ducks where you can go boating. It also features swimming pools, a fitness trail, a bar, and a playground. It is only open during the summer season, and an entrance fee is required.

A dense, verdant forest, considered representative of the primeval forest. There is also a trout hatchery here. During the summer, car traffic is restricted, as it is considered the only "virgin" forest in Portugal.

The 689 hectares of navigable waterways of the Caniçada reservoir are a prime location for water sports. The region's scenic beauty is ideal for pleasant boat trips. The "Rio Caldo" vessel aims to provide its passengers with the best that Gerês has to offer.

As the name suggests, this waterfall is located near Portela do Homem, in the parish of Campo do Gerês. It is a place of great natural beauty and is very popular in the summer for its crystal-clear waters.
