Located in the historic center of Samora Correia, it is one of the most striking buildings in the village. Also known as Palácio da Companhia das Lezírias, its interior was destroyed in a violent fire in 1976. Despite this, it remained a heritage reference and is currently a cultural space that includes a library, an auditorium and exhibition galleries.

The Church building does not retain its original appearance on the outside, as it underwent renovations in the 18th century. It has, however, preserved the tiles inside and the Chair of the Brothers of the Holy Spirit and the Altarpiece, which still exists in the chancel and which represents the Visitation of Our Lady to Saint Isabel.

Traditional crafts such as shoemaking, saddlery, barber, farrier, blacksmith, carpenter, caulker, cooper are represented here, and objects from the various activities carried out in the region since the end of the 19th century are on display, such as agricultural implements, household utensils, costumes, embroidery , photographs, furniture, basketwork, toys and ceramics.

The coastal area of Matosinhos is great for a walk on a hot summer day. It has several cafes with terraces to have a drink while watching the sea.

It is the largest green space in Rio Tinto, with an area of 36,500 square meters right in the center of the parish. It has leisure equipment, an amphitheater, a terrace, sports equipment, a playground, two skate parks and dog equipment. Another of the great attractions is the walkway that connects Rio Tinto to the Parque Oriental do Porto, perfect for walking, running or cycling.

As Serras de Santa Justa, Pias, Castiçal, Flores, Santa Iria e Banjas constituem uma unidade paisagística de extrema significância para a Área Metropolitana do Porto, pelo extenso e diversificado conjunto de valores de ordem natural e cultural que a caracteriza, pelos serviços ecossistémicos que assegura e pela proximidade face a núcleos urbanos, vias de comunicação e circuitos turísticos. Estas serras estão classificadas como Paisagem Protegida Regional.
