Vila Nova de Gaia

Also known as Amoreiras Aqueduct or Murracezes, this monument built in the eighteenth century (probably in 1765) is a private civil engineering. In architectural terms, the aqueduct has a width of about two feet and a height ranging between one-and-a-half and eight metres, as the slope of the terrain. In the final section, which ends in fountain, presents an arcade consisting of fourteen arches full of great dimension.
