Chapel characterized by the cumulation and overlapping of different styles: Gothic, manueline and Renaissance. The original temple was built in the 15th century, and in the 17th century was its reconstruction.

The mediaeval city enclosure was defined by the towers and the walls from the 14th and 15th century. Presently there still exist the towers from some doors such as Avis, Baluarte and S. Bartolomeu, Public garden, Aqueduct, Rampa dos Colegiais, the ones close to Calvário Convent and the one located between the Alconchel and Raimundo doors and also the angle in front of the Malagueira road, the connection on the Fernandina Wall with the bulwark of Lippe Count and the wall next to the chivalry headquarters.

Here you can taste and buy the region's finest wines. It's located in a building dating back to 1811, which also features an exhibition room detailing the evolution of winemaking techniques and instruments, an auditorium, and a space for tastings and competitions.
