This small circular route starts and ends in the central Garden of Prainha do Norte. Right at the beginning the trail passes through small agricultural fields until the path of Ribeira de Nossa Senhora, a cluster of houses, many of them abandoned, located across the river that accompanies the path. After the route is developed along the coast, passing through the sand Bay, the only sandy beach of the island.

This pedestrian path starts in Ribeira Quente and ends in the village, with a duration of about three hours. The path is primarily along the coast, passing through woods of frankincense, Acacia and vinháticos, some pastures, the Lomba of Knight, an old mill and iron bridge. Highlighting a viewpoint from where you can see the Graminhais, the Pico da Vara, Pico Bartolomeu and the seven speed bumps of the village.

The houses of the Herdade do Azinhal, built in adobe and stone, with tile and traditional moth, is a great getaway for a few days of rest. The Gold Museum is housed in a goldsmith's workshop at Casa de Alfena (now a rural tourism accommodation unit) and is part of a group of workshops dating back to the 18th century. This space aims to showcase the identity of a community linked to gold work since ancient times. The museum is the result of the efforts of a goldsmith from Travassos, Francisco de Carvalho e Sousa, who, over fifty years of activity, collected gold objects, utensils, and furniture, now exhibited here.
