The remnants of mosaics, a thermal building and an aqueduct, dating back to the 3rd and 5th centuries. Currently, there are no visible elements. At the beggining of the century, one could still see the remnants of buildings believed to having belonged to a large bath house.

Accordingly to the existent bibliography, facts indicate that this fort was the refuge of Gonçalves Zarco and Tristão Vaz Teixeira, the finders of Madeira, before they reached the archipelago. In one of the extremities it is still possible to see the triangle where the sailors fastened their boats.

19th century House, residential type, consisting of 3 floors, work as nursing home since 1978. Inside you can see revivalists tiles on the ceiling of the entrance hall and other more modern in the Ashlar Hall.

This pillory is composed by an octagonal shaft settled in a three steps platform and Ionic capital above which it is possible to see four sustained irons decorated with snake heads. The prismatic body it is finished by7 a pyramid crowned by a sphere.

This pillory is dated from the 16th century and it was later on, rebuilt and reused its heraldic symbols. Above the base there is a shaft with chamfered corners with finish in spiral ball. In one of the ball sides it is possible to see the Portuguese Coat of Arms.
