The Bela Vista (Lovely View) Park is the result of the reconversion of an old farm, one among the many that once existed in the eastern part of town. Th first plantation of trees dates back to almost two decades before now. Nonetheless, the Park only opened its gates in 1991. A wide area where musical events take place.

It is the largest urban park in the country, with an area of 83 hectares that extends to the sea. Designed by the architect Sidónio Pardal, it is an open space with water mirrors, lawns, small woods and about 10 km of paths. It has excellent conditions for the practice of sports or, simply, for walking in contact with Nature. In the park, you can also visit the Water Pavilion and the Sea Life aquarium.

The Rural campsite Rio de Onor, located in the Montesinho Natural Park, is just 25 miles from Bragança. Here you will find natural scenery and conditions still ideal for mountain sports, or even to go hiking.

The Parque de Campismo de Vila Real, located very close to the city centre, is the ideal destination for lovers of camping and nature. Is also indicated for all those who seek to learn more about the historical and cultural heritage of Vila Real. The Archaeological Park of Ellen, the Alvão Natural Park, the Mateus Palace and the Tower of Quintela, attractions not to be missed.
