Rural village that was formerly the seat of the municipality, to which several charters and letters of privilege were granted. Its castle was part of the old defensive line in the formation of Portuguese territory and included twenty villages in its domain. In the cluster of houses, granite and quartz predominate as construction materials. The main places of interest are the castle, the main church, several chapels, the pillory in Praça do Município, the Municipal House and the ruins of Solar dos Távoras.

This Romanic church has a perfectly volte doorway and a rectangular main chapel, probably built by the Count Dom Henrique. This Monument has a rather high symbolism not only for its historical connection to the period in which the Nationality was founded, but also because traditionally here Dom Afonso Henriques was baptised. The main façade includes a doorway with two archivolts and a flat tympanum. On the inside there are some warrior graves that were connected to the Nationality foundation.

The palace was built in the mid-16th century on the initiative of a local family called Furtado Mendonça, whose coat of arms can still be seen above the main door. The building has a Renaissance profile, evident in the design of the main portico and the fine arcade found in the inner courtyard. At the end of the 19th century, the palace was used as the headquarters of the Beja High School, a situation that lasted for 35 years. Currently, the building houses a student residence.

Where formerly inhabited farmers, now runs this area of Rural tourism, carefully restored and adapted, to make room for a very comfortable and cosy space, composed of five rooms. Located in the immediate vicinity of the village of São Salvador da Aramenha, the House is decorated in a rustic, wood-burning fireplace, air conditioning and other facilities.

The garden was designed by the architect Teles and V. Barreto in 1962/69, with the modernist influences of the time. It is a space with 8ha, with exotic vegetal species, Portuguese trees and a lake. It has a set of sculptures that make the connection to the various buildings of the foundation and has also an open air auditorium that, during the summer, is the stage of theatre, music and dance shows.

Area with many chestnut-trees, whose materials, after prepared, is essential to make basketry. Portalegre presents a crafts work rich in baskets, panniers and large baskets. The first two are used to harvest and carrying olives and the large baskets are to transport bread. The basketry in this region began with the baskets that were used to export chestnuts to Brazil.

In ' mergers Gallery bar is a space with relaxed atmosphere and young. Is located in front of the Largo da Oliveira, in the historic centre of Guimarães. Combines a wide variety of musical styles and cultures, with the particularity to make known, in her gallery, some works of art. During the day, serves light meals but it is with the arrival of the night that the turnout in this space increases.

Rustic house dated from the late 19TH century, located about eight kilometers from Seia. The old mill is still visible and the ruins of communal bread oven. Spread over three floors, guests can make use of six well-equipped rooms, kitchen, reading room, tv lounge and a bar.
