Little elevation where they were detected necropolises and habitat structures of Roman times. In explorations in the early 20th century were found several elements of Roman coins and pottery, as well as an elliptical tank. The Piece is divided into farms, some wooded and horticultadas. A typically Madeiran rural house, with a stor on the ground floor and the owners's dwellings on the upper floor. It was probably built in the 18th century and rebuilt in the 20th century. A special note to the main outer portal.

Probably revivalist chapel built in the 19th century and consists of a longitudinal plan simple, with a main façade in Gable, torn by a pointed arch portal. In the interior, especially the painting of the 18th century coverage.

A small rural chapel probably built during the 17th century and rebuilt in the 20th century. It still keeps to the original plan, with a sacristy on its right side and a mannerist portal with a full arch.
