With open arms 133 meters above the level of the Tagus River, the Sanctuary of Cristo Rei offers a privileged view over the municipalities of Lisbon and Almada. And, on sunny days, the gaze can even reach part of Sintra and Sesimbra. Opened in 1959, it was inspired by Christ the Redeemer, located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The monument was built on the promise made by the Bishops of Portugal to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in the hope of keeping the country away from the Second World War.

The restaurant Páteo Velho is installed at the headquarters of the order of Doctors, but is open to the general public. In the Centre of Lisbon, this restaurant that opened in November 2013, combines the refinement of a Palace and Portuguese cuisine. There are "Executive menus" at lunch, still provided for the realization of tasting menus, as well as the promotion of workshops, wine tastings, among other activities organized by the staff at the Páteo Velho, led by Milá Veloso. A wooden English pub, with two well decorated floors. It serves breakfasts and snacks (hamburgers, omelets and sandwiches) and is open from 10 am to 4 am. It has daily live music in the summer.

This space's Art Nouveau decor stands out in a bar that is ideal for chatting away from confusion. It is open from 6 pm to 3 am and from 9 pm to 3 am on Saturday.

A large library composed of a study room, a computer room and books rooms. It has an auditorium that may be rented. It is open on saturdays between 9.30 am and 12.30 am and 2 pm and 5.45 pm.

An open air auditorium, located in the Palmela Park, with a capacity for 1000 spectators. Seeveral performances take place here, including concerts by symphonic orchestras, jazz bands, fado nights and theatre performances.

The library opened in 1995, adopting the name of a writer who reported the alentejan life and its hardships. In addition to the books, has an internet space, a children's area and a reading area, among other services.

Integrated in a complex with swimming pools, Sports Hall, football pitch and tennis court. There is an indoor swimming pool and another discovery. The latter is open between mid-June and mid-September and closes on Mondays.

A 40 metres long and 20 metres wide ring. Painted tar pavement. There are two balnearies, one for the athletes and another for the referees and open air seats for the audience. The sports are futsal, handball and tennis.
