Located in Solar dos Aguillares, a stately building from the 12th and 14th centuries, this museum, born from Raul de Sá Correia's passion for everything that concerns his land, is a source of pride for Vila Flor and even the district for its collections of painting, archeology and ethnography, African crafts, sacred art, numismatics and medals. Its contents, a gift from Vilaflorenses over the years, are now the heritage of the local people, so that their "yesterday" remains alive, and future generations know that Vila Flor has a past that needs to be preserved.

In the past, watermills used the Guadiana River to transform grain into flour. Today, watermills are places of leisure.

19th-century Pier that has always been linked to fishing activities. Is still functional today.

The Casa do Vale das Hortas was once one of the largest weaving centres in the municipality of Alcoutim, being today a pleasant cottage. Offers six rooms, all including bathroom and three common rooms, with fireplace and a cosy bar. The House is still equipped with traditional algarvian cuisine and a salt-water pool. There is still room for cycling, hiking, making small or even visit the garden of the House.

An important foundation in the areas of educarion and culture. It has been functioning for over 20 years now.

Windmill dating from the 18th century, recovered between 1999 and 2001, running now as a museum.

This former railway bridge is now restricted to pedestrian traffic. Built of stone, it is composed of large arches.

Set of eight typical houses, located in the middle of the Serra da Estrela Natural Park, ideal for those who want to feel the serrano environment. There pretty close it is possible to ski on the slopes, where there is equipment hire and lessons for beginners. Meals can be ordered and made in a wood-fired oven.

A set of five stone ovens, with a circular plan and a robust building. The first reference to this set dates back to 1582, when the man in charge of the São Julião works hired brick-layers to make and bake chalk in the ovens. For several centuries, these ovens were an important economic activity in the area.
