Only a few remains of this castle remain. From the original castle, the Santo Antônio Gate is visible, consisting of two thick walls, over which sits an arch with a broken outline on the outside and a perfect arch on the inside. 17th century church that took 17 years to be built. In the façade are worthy of notice the six big windows placed as if in civil building, ornamented with baroque motifs. Inside stands out the triumphal arch decoration and the crucified Christ sculpture at the secondary altar. At the back of the church was built the Capela dos Aflitos, standing out the glazed tile panel with the crucified Christ.

In this church constructed in 1496, it stands out the main façade sided by bell towers from the 17th century, presenting a magnificent Manueline doorway, laced and sculpted work done by João de Ruão. The interior presents three naves with wooden ceilings, separated by four round arches. On the transept chapels it stands out the golden carving and the coffered vaults.
