Serralves is one of the best spots in Porto, whose splendour and green spaces charms everyone. Its importance has been growing for years, since art is now a part of the pleasant walks you may do while you visit. Modernity has a leading role in this scenery. There is a rural place to visit also: the Riba de Ave farm, former Conde de Vizela farm. The assortment includes the main house, annexed gardens, rural area and agricultural houses.

Herdade do Monte Branco extends over an area of cork oak located in the foothills of the Sierra de Ossa. Offers four houses, two T1, T2 and T4, one equipped with all amenities, but in the traditional setting. You can also live in huge common room, where you can dine, be the fireplace or playing games. Here you will find a rustic atmosphere, with plenty of room for hiking, cycling, enjoy the pool, swim in the dam or picnic along this, visit the animals, go to the garden or simply rest.

Also known as the Albertas Garden or Rocha do Conde de Óbidos Garden, it is framed in a set of ancient buildings, such as the Hospitalários Convent of São João de Deus, presently occupied by the GNR, the Conde de Óbidos-Sabugal Palace, presently the headquarters of the Red Cross and the Ancient Art Museum. The garden has a belvedere offering a panoramic view of the river. From this point, the going down to the 24 de Julho Avenue is done through an imposing double staircase, all covered with climbing plants, built in 1880-1882.

In the restaurant Only Snacks, on guard, as the name implies there is no complicated dishes around here, just snacks! The calhos, the woodpecker, the ear or octopus salad and liver baits are the specialties that can also take home. If hunger shake, "bifanas (€2,20) and the nails (€ 2,50) are a good option. But the surprise here are preserved. The spicy tuna and sardine cans cost €0,75 and the eel-€1,80. Go to the table at dish, accompanied by a bag of bread (€0,70). The beautiful and stylish Cascais hostel deserved a space that gives continuity and an extension, albeit outside of the main building. Well decorated and intimate inside, has a letter that invites discovery and sharing. Abroad, the terrace is an excellent option for mild days petisqueira. António Mendes leads with mastery a letter full of traditional Portuguese flavours and some good humour, which deserve to be tasted in a way shared. To taste Snacks mode is a good way to go to the discovery. Good wine list with several references available by the glass.

A well preserved village that stands out for its small farms and old summer manors. A special note to the old summer manor of the House of Bragança, rather visited by the courts when they went to the São Pedro do Sul thermae.
