A much attended beach that welcomes people from all walks of life. There is a belvedere on the rocks. There are also a few restaurants and plenty of liveliness.

The collection clearly shows the populations faith to Our Lady of Porto D'Ave. It consists of paintings that picture a miracle performed at a time of affliction. In every panel one can see the image of the protective saint and a subtitle telling how the miracl occured.
17th century Church of longitudinal plant consisting of three naves. The interior was much remodeled, keeping, however, a beautiful pulpit and baptismal font.
On the Harbour, next to the River Douro, is much sought after for lunch for the service of ordinaries for very affordable prices. Good service and good presentation.
