This 18th-century building is notable for its magnificent Baroque portal on the exterior, topped by the national coat of arms of King John V. The simplicity of the facade contrasts with the profuse decoration of the interior, where the ceilings, painted by Lisbon artists António Simões and Vicente Nunes, and a huge canvas depicting King John V, executed around 1730 by Domenico Duprá, stand out. Mondim de Basto

Small temple built in the 16th century that underwent profound changes in the 18th century, featuring baroque interior decoration. With just one nave, the ceiling is covered with coffers with golden frames, painted with biblical motifs from the Old Testament. It is worth highlighting the fact that it preserves an image from the 16th century. The two polychromatic carved altarpieces and the walls of the chancel covered with tiles from the 17th/18th centuries deserve attention. It stands out for the quantity and quality of the baroque decoration inside.

This fifteen hundreds temple has three naves with five ranks with round arches. The walls coverage is done with green and white glazed tiles and the tunnel vault are decorated with paintings from the 17th century. The sacristy has crossed vaults. On the main chapel stands out the polychromes glazes tiles, one altarpiece in baroque carve and four sixteen hundreds paintings. It is also worthy to mention the lateral altars carve and the sixteen hundreds candelabra, as well as a gothic pediment on the entrance right side.

Baroque church of longitudinal plan consists of nave and chancel. Features a two Tower Records divided by the cornice, with its Bell in round arch. Interior of the Church has a choir-high, presenting the Gospel, pulpit and baptistery foursquare. Along the walls are two cruises and others painted on the stonework of the corners and frames, composing a Via Crucis and a Calvary. Watch out in the grave with stone bearing the headstone, next to the sacristy. There are two sinks of holy water: a simple and other more elaborate.

The set is formed by a tower, the Casa do Despacho and Clérigos Church. This monument is the maximum exponent of the Porto’s baroque style. Although it is less known than the Clérigos Tower, the Clérigos Church was built first, between 1732 and 1750. It is a Nasoni’s typical construction. Inside, the golden carving and the baroque, rococo and neoclassic pelmets stand out. This was the first big work by Nasoni and the one which made him famous. This author would never leave the Porto city and died here.

Revivalist neo-Gothic church, with a longitudinal drawing and three naves, being the main façade flanked by two asymmetrical towers. You can see a great influence of the gothic style, at the pointed arches and the constant presence of glass windows. The buttresses with the Santo António, São João de Deus, Beato Nuno Álvares Pereira and São João de Brito sculptures on top stand out, as well as the fine ornament on the arches and the friezes on the columns, examples of the Arab and Byzantine arts.
