The convent of the hermits of the Serra de Ossa was built by order of Hermits in 1647. The inspiration in the figure of Sao Paulo made the hermits were also known as Hermits of St. Paul or Jesus Christ. For this reason, the monument has several designations as, for example, the Blessed Sacrament Convent, Convent of the hermits of St. Paul da Serra da Ossa or convent of Jesus Christ. Existing House since 1968, kept in the family until today. Ernesto Pereira, the father, passed the restaurant to his son, Reinaldo Pereira, in 1990. Today, this House continues to serve dishes from traditional Portuguese cuisine with the same simplicity and quality.
