Located in Praça Velha, this 16th-century Manueline-style building stands out for its architecture and the elements that characterize it. On the main façade, the balcony, the Coat of Arms of Portugal, the Coat of Arms of D. Manuel, the Armillary Sphere, and a tombstone in Latin, from 1646. Above the main door, there is a belfry, now without a bell, which in the past announced the closing of the city's defensive gates. Institutions such as the City Council or the jail have already operated in this place, which currently houses the Embroidery Interpretation Centre.

In the main square of the Jewish quarter is the famous ḥanukkah that lights up every year during the Festival of Lights, which usually takes place on the last weekend of the year. In this area, between the current streets Rua Direita and Rua Fonte da Rosa, you can find several small granite houses, with cruciform motifs on the threshold and on the small openings. The Jews were mostly artisans and merchants, so the lower floor of their houses was normally occupied by their workshop or shop.

Natural monument depicting footprints of Dinosaurs, considered an important fossil record of the Jurassic period, more precisely, of the sauropod dinosaurs. Note the limestone slab which records footsteps over 175 million years ago. There are around 20 paths or lanes, with guided tours, other autonomous. Be sure to visit the Jurassic Garden, so you can imagine the existing flora at the time, with authentic living fossils. In the store of nature you will find souvenirs to remember the visitor.
