A belvedere with views of the Lousada parish, from where one can view the Mesio Valley and neighbour parishes. It has tables and benches and some tall trees.
A natural site located at the Caia Dam, which stretches along the Caia River. The natural beauty of this area is due to the emerging vegetation and the possibility of spotting bird species such as the bittern, the common nightingale, the wood warbler, and the reed warbler.
Proto-history village consisting of two fortified walls enclosures of different dimensions. The larger presents an outline elliptical and the smallest is northeast of the first. Were found at the site several fragments of common pottery from the iron age.
Farm with traces of a primitive construction and a murária structure that maybe part of the old dormitory of the Friars and the site of the former Franciscan convent cloister. Featured for the whole tank and of the Oratory in the courtyard, which is a rare example of Manueline monastery garden.
Statue built to pay homage to the poet and pedagogue João de Deus (1830-1896). It is sited in a place called the “poets’ retreat” where also are several statues and effigies of famous poets that have been in the students’ city.
With the ceilings painted by great XIX century portuguese artists, the building is sited over a armoury from the XVI century. Inside there is a large yard, where you may observe glazed tiles panels telling the history of Portugal.
