This small, rectangular fort was built in the 18th close to the location of a previous fort dedicated to St Ignacio. This previous fort, located on a cliff, was destroyed when the cliff fell into the sea during the 1755 earthquake. This lead to the new fort being built further back than the one dedicated to St Ignacio. The presence of a fort at this site was necessary for protecting the tunny traps located througout the coast. The fort is now in ruins.

Opened in 2008, it delights visitors during the summer months. Located in the northern part of Jardim do Lago, it has 1,800 square meters of water surface with artificial waves and a capacity to accommodate 2,800 people. It also features a sunbathing and recreation area, changing rooms, indoor and outdoor showers, a bar/terrace, a mini-library, water aerobics activities, and a parking area. The view of the Serra da Estrela mountain range is truly worth seeing.

It is said, this manor belonged to a large family, being one of the many properties of this across the country. The coat on the Solar input is associated with Barroso families (whose symbol are quadrupedal animals) and Mc (whose symbol are the towers). You can also see, on top, a Crown of towers on a suit of armor. The old chapel dedicated to Santa Rita is currently working as a Court of Cows. The interior retains the division between floors, being at the bottom are the shops, while in the second, stands out the room that connects to the chapel. The museum of religious art is located in the hermitage of São Sebastião. This hermitage was originally built in the 16th century and went through an important architectural renewal in the first half of the 18th century. The museum has an important collection from the churches of the parish of Albufeira. Among the exhibited works, a special note to the polychrome retable of the second half of the 18th century, where we can see three images: Saint Sebastião, Saint Francisco Xavier and Saint Domingos.

Religious architecture built during the reign of D. Manuel I, with a single nave and niche on the main facade, on which appears the inscription with the date 1714, which probably indicates the year in which the reconstruction works were completed. Inside you can see the national style gilded altarpiece and the images of: S. João Evangelista, Nossa Senhora das Dores, Senhor dos Passos and Senhor Morto. These images are life-sized and highly expressive.
