With an extensive sand beach, where boats are “parked” by the sea, Aguda beach is also known for the richness of the dunes and abundant vegetation. More than a bathing area, Aguda is a welcoming place, where traditions meet new trends. With a blue flag, it has all the conditions to fully enjoy the beach. It has a wooden walkway along its entire length, in addition to being part of the "Accessible Beach, Beach for All" network.

Beach also known as Porto da Cruz Bathing Complex, with clear waters, black sand and good access to the sea. It has a restaurant area, changing rooms and bathrooms.

There are conditions to practice a handful of sports, ranging from volleyball to football, including sport fishing and extreme windsurfing, surfing and bodyboarding. It is located in the Esposende Coastal Protected Landscape area and has a scout camp, a holiday camp and a children's playground. There is also a pleasant library on the beach. Artisanal fishing and sargassum collection are activities that still continue on this beach.

Located in a small fishing village, this beach is a charming sandy shell surrounded by gray ravines that extend into headlands. A truly lush landscape, highlighted by the stone statue of the Needle, a large, dark, narrow, and pointed cone-shaped cliff rising from the sea at the southern end, and the remains of an old 17th-century fortress. The clear, blue sea is dotted with abundant rocks mixed with the sand. It's ideal for surfing. There are a few cafés and restaurants serving typical dishes at moderate prices.
