Built by Alpendurada monastery, so that the friars could enjoy the Farm as a place of rest and repose, Quinta do Mosteiró is a nook, located on the right bank of the River Douro, where all the conditions have been created for guests to enjoy a tourist structure of great comfort.

The castle sits on the banks of the Alva River, with a wall measuring 3.50 meters high and 2.70 meters wide. It was built in the 13th century and rebuilt in the 14th century. Next to the gate is the Chapel of São Miguel, with a nave featuring a projecting, vaulted chancel with two side niches.

The Mondego river has its spring on the Estrela mountain, municipality of Gouveia, at an altitude of 1425 metres. Between the spring and the mouth, the Mondego flows along around 220 kilometres. Its banks, between Coimbra and Figueira da Foz, are the most fertile lands in Portugal.

River beach located in the village of Álvaro. In addition to the banks of the river, the beach has a floating pool, divided into two parts: one for adults, the other for children. Children's playground, picnic area and bar support the beach. The tranquility of the waters allows the practice of nautical sports.

A belvedere at Pederneira, a historic place in the region. A fishermen's place since the 12th century, siege of the parish, Pedereneira was, after Alcobaça, the most populated small town in the region. This islet plan with about twenty hectares of extension was classified as Partial Natural Reserve in 1984. The whole island and the adjacent coast were classified as a Special Protection area due to the importance of its avifauna. Here can be found several species, with emphasis on the common tern cagarro, garajau – rosado and angelito. Access is prohibited but, for those who want to see, just go to the viewing point of the tip.

In the restaurant Aunt Bé, in Almada, the decoration demonstrates African origins, however, on those roots restaurant are only visible in two dishes: at cachupa and muamba, after all the most popular dishes. Moreover, serving 52 different dishes, extensive local cuisine. You can't put a price tag on the dose, only works with full menus starting at € 9 and go up depending on the choice.

Castle ordered to be built by Álvaro Gonçalves Pereira in 1350, having undergone several modifications in the following centuries. This castle was part of a vast line of fortresses and watchtowers that protected the much attacked banks of the Tagus River.
