National bibliographic patrimony composed by about 2 million and a half volumes classified in separate nucleuses: Reserved (print, manuscript and archive), General Fund (monographs and periodicals) and special funds (mapping, iconography, music and special reading). Presence library with access reserved for people over 18, only card holders are allowed.

A large room divided in three areas: an exhibitions and games room, a study room and a reading room. It has two computers with internet access and two others with children's games.

Founded in 1805, the library is one of the most qualified and rich national Libraries, owning printed and manuscripts nucleuses from the XIII to the XX centuries. Besides that it preserves archaeological and artistic values.
