Between the Tejo river and the Atlantic Ocean, about 15 minutes away from Lisbon, by the Costa da Caparica sea sand, one finds the INATEL Holiday Centre - "A place in the Sun". Large gardens located in the Quinta do Arco country house, where one of the largest collections of rose bushes in Portugal is on display, with around a thousand different species, including some rare species and others on the verge of extinction, including plants endemic to the Macaronesia region and some species from the Madeira Archipelago itself. The Quinta offers special programs with accommodation and meals.

This church is linked to a popular tradition that tells that the waters of the Tejo have, at the time of the earthquake, advanced and endangeered the population. Thus, the fishermen have grabbed the image of the patron saint that made them miraculously go back and saved them from the tsunami. The façade is typical of the post-earthquake times. A special note to the sun clocks on the left tower, some of the finest exemplaries in the region.

Commissioned by King Afonso II in 1215, this church was destroyed by an earthquake in 1429 and rebuilt from 1433 onwards. In the last quarter of the 15th century, the tombs of Don Diogo and Don Lopo were built here. Of particular note are the Gothic triumphal arch, the 16th-century tombs, the Mudéjar tile panels, and part of the original altarpiece. In 1921, the Abrantes Regional Museum was established here.

It is a rustic House, with good service of Grills (meat and fish) and terrace covered by a trellis. Entries of Alentejo, ham and cheese Samosas; carvoada service on the table (the client is grilling her flesh), Octopus and cod to the mill owner, roast suckling pig Bairrada and black pig meats, wild boar and deer. Has barrel wines from Extremadura and Alentejo, and regional sweets for dessert.

These two tombs from the fifteen hundreds are located on the wall and on the pavement inside the main chapel from the church of Pombeiro. One on the tombs is from Mateus da Cunha, from the XVI century with a Manueline style and which construction is ascribed to Diogo Pires-o-Moço; the other tomb is from Vão da Cunha, prior of Martinho de S. Guinhêda.

Inserted on a farm about 80 hectares of vineyards, this House is located in a region rich in monuments and offers beautiful scenery. The fifth, in the oldest Demarcated Region of the world was founded in 1894 and has three bedrooms. Is a farm vitivinicultora and bottler of port and Douro wines.

The tavern of the Shah is a reference in the region, a reference point for tasting products of the region. Stands out the tiles of veal and pork noissetes au gratin with mozzarella. The terrace has a privileged view of the Tagus River, with the bridge 25 April and the Cristo-Rei as a backdrop.
