The campsite of Freixial, located near the Natural Reserve of Serra da Malcata, is characterized by a landscape of valleys and streams. Here you have the possibility to do camping surrounded of nature in its purest state, in the shadows of fresh ash trees, Alders and willows that abound in this space. You can also refresh yourself with a dip in the ribeira and prepare your meals outdoors, in grills provided by the Park.

It belongs to the Ancient Massif of Trás-os-Montes, located to the North of Bragança, in the border with Spain. Part of the Natural Park of the Montesinho Mountain, this is where it reaches its tallest altitude: 1481 metres.One can take several pedestrian walks, mountain bike or drive a car along the rivers and getting acquainted with fauna and th fora of the region, as well as its typical villages and its archaeological vestiges.

Also called Santa Luzia hill, it is located by th city of Viana do Castelo. From the belvedere, 249 metres high, one can view the city, the Lima valley and the sea. On the top thre is the Santa Luzia Church. The ascent to the top can be made on foot, elevator or car. It is a space of rare beauty, with diversified vegetation, the celtic village (citânia) of Santa Luzia and the Tílias Park.

In the Natural Park of Alvão, about 5 kilometres away from the centre of Vila Real, the 20 metres tall Galegos da Serra waterfall shows itself majestic. Due to the intense fracturation one can clearly view deep alterations in the granite. The mill of Ribeira de Arnal (road Agarez/Galegos da Serra) completes this unique watercolour of Trás-os-Montes.

Beach with extensive sand, accessible only by boat, costing €1.40. Located in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, this large sand area has the necessary equipment for water sports. On the Tavira island, among the vegetation and sand, there are several houses and restaurants and a campsite, increasingly sought after by tourists. Short walking route, suitable for walking or driving, integrated into the Douro International Park. With a length of around nine kilometers, it takes four hours on foot and one hour by car. It begins and ends at the Rural Interpretation Center, in the village of Bruçó, following paths through olive groves, among the cliffs of the Douro River. At the end of the trail, you can visit the traditional olive oil press, in the same village.

This village, located in the far north of the municipality, between the Massueime Stream and the Coa River, preserves archaeological remains (integrated into the Coa Valley Archaeological Park), architectural heritage, and natural features. Once fortified, this settlement retains surface features that indicate Roman inhabitation. The settlement's longevity is evident in the homogeneity of its architecture and the materials used. Highlights include the chapel of St. Sebastian, the main church, and several private residences.

Portuguese-Spanish village inserted in the protected area of the Montesinho Natural Park. It stands out for preserving ancestral customs, such as the community regime of property and land use, and for the unique dialect of its inhabitants. The houses, built in schist and with porch balconies, are beautiful examples of regional architecture. The village is "divided" into Rio de Onor de Baixo and Rio de Onor de Cima, which coexist between Portugal and Spain.

In a city that usually faces very hot and dry summers, the Piscina Praia, and its four thousand square meters of water, quickly became a reference leisure space in the region. In the warmer months, vacationers can enjoy hydrogymnastics, aqua zumba and recreational and educational activities for children, in addition to being able to relax in the large grassy area.
