Being the only thermal resort in the Algarve, Caldas de Monchique is located at an altitude of 350 meters and 20 kilometers from the Algarve coast, in the middle of the Serra de Monchique. Consisting of two metal decks, which were intended to make the road connection between Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto, this bridge measures 395 meters in length and 8 meters in width, comprising 5.5 meters of carriageway and 1.25 meters meters of walkways. This construction, designed by the engineer Teófilo Seyrig, was one of the largest works in the road plan carried out by the monarch Luís I.

On one of the banks of the Vouga River, next to the new thermal baths of São Pedro do Sul, lies one of the oldest Roman thermal baths, making it one of the most important archaeological monuments from this period. It is a Roman thermal area composed of a tepidarium, a caldarium, a sudatorium, and a laconicum (dry greenhouse), comprising a set of five pools. It is also known as the Dom Afonso Henriques Pool.

Located near the village of Marmeleiro, this beach has several unique features that make it special. First, the reconstructed dam, from which water was collected for irrigation; second, the surrounding vegetation, which includes alders, poplars, and fig trees. This space was born from the old house Paixanito, keeping the famous chef de cuisine and the extensive and delicious menu with more than forty snacks based on regional flavors with touches of modernity. Situated on a hillside overlooking the Zêzere River, eighteen kilometers from the municipal seat, Pedrógão Pequeno is an ancient settlement, with some evidence of Roman civilization still remaining. It was once the county seat (granted in 1513 by King Manuel I) under the name of Pedrógão do Crato. In 1834, the municipality was dissolved and integrated into Sertã. Fragments of the pillory (classified as a National Monument) still remain. The Manueline-style church, composed of two large naves, dates from the 17th century.
