An urban park located in Abrantes, on both banks of the Tagus River. It comprises approximately 85 hectares of redeveloped area, with various leisure, tourism and sports facilities, such as an inflatable dam, several gardens and green spaces, a playground, a picnic area, restaurants, bars and terraces. On its water surface, you can practice canoeing, sailing, rowing, windsurfing, etc.

King Carlos I entrusted this project to Frenchman Gustave Eiffel, the famous architect of the Eiffel Tower, and it connects the two banks of the Tagus River, connecting the municipalities of Cartaxo and Salvaterra de Magos. This set of two caves is located on the left bank of the Arade river estuary. The biggest of them is 100 metres long and the smallest only a few tens of metres.
