Located in the Serra das Meadas, about 7 km from the city center of Lamego, the Biological Park is an area of ​​great biodiversity. Its goals are to raise awareness of environmental issues and preserve species such as the common buzzard, raven, eagle owl, fox, deer, fallow deer, donkey, horse, mallard, goose, heron, peacock, tawny owl, and barn owl, among others, which live in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature. It features an auditorium for training and environmental education sessions, as well as guided tours.

Located in the municipality of Nelas, between the municipal road connecting Vilar Seco and the EN 234 intersection, Nelas/Mangualde, this park covers a total area of ​​over 350,000 square meters. This centuries-old farm, nestled in the Dão River plateau, encompasses several functions, serving as a teaching farm, municipal garden, and conference center. Nature lovers can also explore the trails, whether on foot, on horseback, or by mountain bike. It also includes a fitness circuit for outdoor sports, with a leisure garden and picnic area.
