Founding Church in 1656, with leave from the Chancery of the order of Avis. Their composition are part the nave, chancel, vestry and Bell. Despite its façade of simple lines, where stands out the niche above the door, the interior is of great architectural richness.

Set composed of a main building and four chalets of smaller dimensions. The main building features a plant in H, with coverage carried out by three roofs and four waters. The chalets are rectangular with gable roofs roofing, bent and vestured of mantling clipped.

Located on the left bank of the Douro River, directly facing Oporto's Ribeira (riverside), the Gaia Ribeira is a lively area, most especially during the summer. The tourists do not resist the temptation of a walk on this side of the river and of visiting the Port Wine Cellars. The Cais de Gaia, a space that includes many bars and restaurants with lovely terraces near the banks is more recent.

During this walk a visit is recommended to the following places: the gothic Church of Castelo (Castle/Saint Maria of Anunciação), the belevedere of the Alto do Cruzeiro, with views of Lourinhã and Areia Branca, the Convent of Saint António, the Museum of Lourinhã, the Monument to the Battle of Vimeiro, the Beach of Porto Dinheiro, the shellfish beds of the shellfish house Frutos do Mar and the ruins of the Paimogo Fortress.

This 2-kilometer hiking trail reaches a maximum altitude of 504 meters. After walking for 1 kilometer on a paved road, you'll find a dirt path on the right and enter the forest. These first few kilometers are relaxing, and hikers can enjoy a refreshing dip in the mineral water at one of the accessible springs along this trail and visit the remains of an ancient tomb.

This village owes its name to the existence of large Neolithic caves in the region, linked to various local legends. Here you can visit the main church, rebuilt in the 16th century, with a tomb, patterned tiles lining the entire nave, and a 15th-century polychrome stone bas-relief, as well as a medieval bridge. Wooden miniatures represent local crafts.

It is the largest urban park in the country, with an area of 83 hectares that extends to the sea. Designed by the architect Sidónio Pardal, it is an open space with water mirrors, lawns, small woods and about 10 km of paths. It has excellent conditions for the practice of sports or, simply, for walking in contact with Nature. In the park, you can also visit the Water Pavilion and the Sea Life aquarium.
