A very busy fair, one of the best known in the northern region, which is already part of the weekly routines of people from the Aveiro district and the cities of Porto and Gaia.

The Alcabrichel River has its mouth in Porto Novo, on the beach with the same name. Its spring is on the Montejunto Hill and its basin measures around 180 km2.

This is a binding stopping-place: the spot where the river meets the sea! The people of Porto come here for a walk and the fisher men, day or night, come to catch something.

This is the most well known and attended beach in Porto Santo.The place has excellent conditions, such as the fine sand, the clear, calm and warm sea and the natural beauty of the area.

Is a café, bar and restaurant, housed in a centenary building, in downtown Porto. The space is modern and inviting, with an interior garden. The menu is not too extensive, but all dishes are conspicuous by their originality.

A Casa do Mineiro – Centro de Documentação, é o primeiro pólo permanente do Museu da Mina de São Domingos. A sua construção pretende ser um contributo para a reconstrução e dignificação da aldeia mineira, das suas gentes e da sua memória. Nessa perspectiva, associaram-se a este espaço dois equipamentos. O museográfico, com a (re) criação da Casa do Mineiro, e o espaço de recolha da memória, com a instalação dum Centro de Documentação.

O seu modo de preparação é característico do Algarve. Serve-se como petisco e são um ótimo acompanhamento de papas de milho e pão. Podem, contudo, ser utilizadas como ingrediente de alguns pratos típicos, acompanhando muitos pratos de bacalhau.
