Located just a few metres away from Albufeira's beach and some minutes away from the town's centre, this inn is a welcoming and familiar space. On the top of the building, from where one can see the beach and the ocean, there is a terrace with chaises longues, tables, chairs and a barbecue. Peaceful atmosphere, good for relaxing.

One of the few vestiges of the old medieval walls, with a quadrangular plan and prismatic battlements. It was adapted to a prison in the 16th century (D. Manuel I). It currently houses the Tourist Office and hosts temporary exhibitions.

From this vantage point it is possible to see the whole of the Monchique urban area, including church towers, the old nunnery, the municipal swimming pools, the urban park and also the town centre's surrounding area.

Placed at the Bernardas Convent (XVII century), this curious museum presents a collection of marionettes from all over the world. The visitors are also invited to see some demonstrations of the diverse techniques of puppets’ manipulation.

Located in one of the foothills of the Serra de Montemuro, a Sanctuary stands out at the top of the Serra de Santa Helena. From this point you can see a beautiful landscape with the town of Tarouca at the foot.

Pleasant place where you can walk in the gardens of dense vegetation, as well as enjoy the views from the viewpoint. From this point, you can see not only the entire city, but also the river and the sea, in a single frame. Be sure to visit the Basilica of Santa Luzia.
