18th century rectangular plant Solar, with two floors divided by a frieze and with homogeneous coverage in gable roof. It was built between the 17TH century and the 18TH century by the Marquis of Graciosa and alcaide-mor of Monsanto, Fernando Afonso de Melo Sampaio Pereira Geraldes. In the 20th century was acquired by the City Council which, after the restore, installed here the tourist office.

This 18th-century building was restored by the City Hall when it was in danger of collapsing, to house the ancient numismatic and archaeological collections of Father João Parente. Here you will find one of the largest numismatic collections, as well as other types of archaeological artifacts also collected by Father Parente. This space also has an educational service, complemented by an area for temporary exhibitions.

One should also notice the the rooms decorated by painted vegetalist friezes, festoons, landscape painted medallions and angels.
