Farm dating from the late 19th century, consisting of three Azorean typical buildings. Here you can choose between rooms or apartments, all of them rustic and very comfortable. The farm has an area of 5000 m2, full of fruit trees, vegetables, shade trees, a gazebo and much more to discover. The praia da Vitória is 2.5 kilometres from this site.

Garden with different types of trees and well-designed and arranged flower beds, interspersed with long cobbled corridors that invite you to take a walk. There is also a small café with a pleasant terrace. Even before the 17th century it contained important buildings such as the Hospital and Igreja da Misericórdia, and during the 17th and 19th centuries the Customs and Civil Government buildings were built here.

This is a unique and unusual place to spend your day. Here you'll encounter several species of wild animals. You might even be surprised by a zebra, giraffe, oryx, or wildebeest, as they roam freely throughout the park. Also, watch the bird of prey and exotic bird show, stroll across the 80-square-meter bridge, get some fresh air, and indulge in the park's restaurant.

Housed in the former county jail building, built in 1844, across from City Hall, here you can explore a remarkable archaeological collection that traces the human presence in the region, from the Paleolithic to the medieval period. Of particular note is Miróbriga, an important Roman settlement, which occupies a special place in this museum, with a dedicated room where you can view exhumed pieces.

Built in the XIX century, in a neoclassical style, the palace was the permanent residence of the King D. Luís, his wife and his children, which lived here on the second half of eight hundred. The throne-room, the supper-room and the “Despacho” room are preserved as in the time of the Royal family. The museum exhibits collections of decorative arts from the XIX century, silvers, paintings, tapestry and furniture.

This monument was built outside the city walls on the place where it used to be an ancient – Christian basilica; the exact date of its foundation is unknown. Its present configuration is the result from the alterations and transformations operated, mostly during the 15th and 16th century. This church shelters the Visigoth Museum Queen Dona Leonor. Here it is possible to admire the biggest ensemble of Visigoth capitals existing in Portugal.

There are still, in some points of the historic centre, remains of the Primitive Wall, which remounts to the year 400. This wall had four doors or entrances. The main door was the Vandoma Arch that was east of the borough, between the Largo da Sé and the Rua Chã. From here, the wall surrounded the hill following closely the Escadas das Verdades (stairs), where the Mentiras Arch or Door used to be.

The campsites Municipal da Praia da Tocha is the ideal place to take refuge from the stress of the city, in full contact with nature in a pure State. With plenty of shadows and verdant lawns, here you will have at your disposal all the conditions to enjoy your holidays or even the weekend. Make excursions on foot or by bicycle and cycle the always cosy city centre of Cantanhede.

The campsite tree, located in Vila do Conde, right on the seafront and close to the beach of the tree, has modern infrastructure and in excellent condition, in order to provide pleasant leisure time campers, in complete harmony with nature. Here you will have opportunity to practice numerous activities and water sports. Alternatively we suggest a walk in the Centre of Vila do Conde, the aqueduct and the Home of the square.

Building also called Solar dos Sá Vargas, which underwent several alterations in the 20th century, the balconies were restored, the main staircase of the building removed and the windows on the upper floor placed. In 1947, a Bank of Portugal branch was installed here and, in 2001, it was acquired by the Bragança City Council. Currently, the space is occupied by the Graça de Morais Contemporary Art Center.
