Museum located in the building of the old Resende prison, which was restored and expanded in 2003. Various ethnographic objects are on display that characterize the uses and customs of the region, as well as a vast archaeological collection.

In this museum you can visit a collection of modern art, namely paintings and sculptures by Martins Correia. It has been located since 1982 in the building of the former Town Hall and Prison.

This granite building formerly served as a courthouse, prison, town hall, and farmers' guild. Currently, it houses the Municipal Library. Of particular note is the 18th-century National Coat of Arms ornamentation.

Founded by the brotherhood of San Antonio, this Church had several farms, whose incomes were in favour of the artistic ornamentation. The Patron Saint can be seen in the sculpture erected in mud, in the pediment of the entrance. Has some marble altarpieces, designed by the architect José Francisco de Abreu and Angelic Velez.

The Mexican restaurant Las Ficheras, located in Cais do Sodré, promises to make known the true Mexican cuisine. Not just for tapas and for offering "tex mex", Las Ficheras offers the best dishes of Mexican cuisine, with a taste of home. Its name originates in the women who worked in cabarets Mexicans, whom the men gave a plug, in Exchange for a drink, or a dance company, called why Las Ficheras. The restaurant decor seeks to recreate some of that environment, with figures and cabaret masks on the walls and serve as table legs.

Hotel Porto Mare's restaurant with lunch and dinner à la carte or set menu, served on the inside and on the terrace next to the garden.

One of the few vestiges of the old medieval walls, with a quadrangular plan and prismatic battlements. It was adapted to a prison in the 16th century (D. Manuel I). It currently houses the Tourist Office and hosts temporary exhibitions.

Beacon installed at the Fort of San Miguel since 1903. Serves to aid navigation. And has currently a bright range of 15 miles, being completed by a warning beep in days of fog.
