La iglesia fue fundada por la reina Leonor a principios del siglo XVI. Remodelado en el siglo XVIII, el campanario también es de esa época. El interior, de tres naves, está revestido con azulejos del siglo XVII. Cabe destacar el retablo mayor original, ahora en la sacristía, compuesto por cinco paneles con pinturas de António Costa de 1600 e imaginería.

Not just for tapas and for offering "tex mex", Las Ficheras offers the best dishes of Mexican cuisine, with a taste of home. Its name originates in the women who worked in cabarets Mexicans, whom the men gave a plug, in Exchange for a drink, or a dance company, called why Las Ficheras. The restaurant decor seeks to recreate some of that environment, with figures and cabaret masks on the walls and serve as table legs.

Roman ruins located at the foot of Monte da Senhora do Castelo, an old fortified castro from the Iron Age. The archaeological structures that are uncovered constitute an inn, what the Romans called "mansio". It sheltered and welcomed passers-by who traveled throughout the empire and rested there, enjoying a relaxing bath in its private spa.
