The Clube Português de Cinematografia (Portuguese Cinema Club) was founded in 1945 and renamed, three years later, Clube Português de Cinematografia/Cineclub do Porto. It screens non-commercial, author's movies, has a production section (that supports young directors), organizes children's sessions and workshops and also cinema classes.

The Porto Spot Hostel is the largest Hostel in the North of the country and is a 1935 building, carefully refurbished and decorated to welcome this accommodation. The rooms are bright and are divided into three floors, being, in the first, which guests can cook their own meals or relax in the library.
