Church with a simple façade that only has one bell tower. Inside we can admire the XVIII century carving and some paintings cased with golden woodcarving.

This pillory has a rectangular plan and it is dated from the 18th century. It possesses two steps; the column is settled above a pedestal and on the top, there lays an abutment with cased foliage.

The restaurant Sun and rain, in the accommodation of the same name, begins by capturing attention for beautiful views of the dam of the Alto Rabagão. Open that gets your appetite, come rain or shine, it's time to taste the specialities of the House. Feijoada à transmontana, roast veal, cabidela rice or chouriça (meat) and the trout house style and bacalhau à Sun and rain (in fish) are the main.

This cultural cooperative was established in 1988 and today is comprised of about 300 co-workers who, since the Foundation, develop numerous cultural initiatives, without forgetting the citizenship component which closes only on artists. Is above all a space of conviviality, of meetings between friends, artists, cultural and art groups. The exhibitions are frequent.

The Pashmina is a popular Indian restaurant, located in the South of the Church of Praia da Luz, so you might want to book a table to ensure place. The room is cosy and friendly service. The "Kashmiri", comes with the sauce of dried fruits, is one of the specialities of the House. Be sure to taste the "Balti" or the "Pashmira", a dish with sweet and sour onions. The wines are not the forte da casa. Already beer is much in demand by customers.

Classed since 1978 as a public interest parish, Piódão is located near the Hermínios Hills and is one of the oldest villages in the country, surrounded by wide green areas. The village was firstly inhavited by sheperds. Its houses are mostly made of schist. Because it is difficult to get to, the village is known for the escape of well known criminals. A special note to its four chapels: Saint João, Saint Bárbara, Our Lady of Saúde (Good Health) and Our Lady of Good Parto.
