The new Estádio do Algarve (Algarve Stadium) is located between the municipalities of Faro and Loulé and it is a part of the "Parque das Cidades" (Cities Park). This stadium has a capacity for 30 thousand spectators. In the future, the north and south rows of seats will be removed in order to utilize the athletics lanes.

The Museu Militar do Porto (military museum) is placed in a building dating from the end of the XIX century, where once ran the former PIDE-DGS (political police). It was open to public in 1980. The battle to win in this museum is to preserve study and disclose historical-military patrimony.

Museum opened in 1921, located in the Church of Santa Maria do Castelo, classified as a national monument. Housed in the "Casa dos Açores," the Roque Gameiro Watercolor Museum is spread over three floors. The museum features a collection of two hundred watercolors, drawings by Alfredo Roque Gameiro and his immediate family, as well as portraits of Roque Gameiro dedicated to him by other artists.
