This is a building from the former city council of Póvoa do Varzim. When it was decided the new construction for the city council in 1791, the building was badly preserved. Inspired on the architecture of Porto Fortress, this building went under several interventions, some of which on the outer surface and inside surface tiles and the tower.

It is a mannerist building from the XVII century, with various paintings from the XVII and XVIII centuries inside. Large tumulus, clearly visible in the landscape, located near the intersection of the path with the County Road. Features about 19 feet in diameter and 1.5 metres tall, with a deep central depression. Do not identify traces of dolmen, but are visible remnants of lytic Cuirass. Belongs to the Megalithic necropolis of the Mourela plateau.
Igreja de Nossa Senhora de Fátima

Built in 1934, it was planed by the architect Pardal Monteiro. It is the first religious monument using an architectonical modern grammar. In its decoration participated several artists, namely Francisco Franco, Leopoldo de Almeida, Barata Feio, Almada Negreiros (autor dos vitrais), Henrique Franco and Lino António.
